Stage 3 of the 2025 Giro d'Italia today: route, profile, schedule, and where to watch on TV and online

From Albania to Rome. The 108th edition of the 2025 Giro d'Italia continues through Albanian soil in a month-long race that concludes in the Eternal City.
After the time trial through Tirana, the third of the 21 stages of the race takes place this Sunday, May 11th . The notable absentee is reigning champion Tadej Pogacar, who will not be able to retain his title after deciding to prioritize his schedule for other races and not compete in the three Grand Tours in the same season (Giro, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España). Jonas Vingegaard, the great alternative, will also be absent.
In this edition, competitors will cover 3,413.3 kilometers with an altitude difference of 52,500 meters. Of the 21 stages, two will be time trials, six will be sprints, and the rest will be mountain stages, the latter with moderate to maximum difficulties.
In addition to the four Albanian municipalities, the Giro will pass through 14 Italian regions : Veneto, Aosta Valley, Umbria, Trentino, Tuscany, Puglia, Piedmont, Marche, Lombardy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Campania, Basilicata and Abruzzo.

The third stage will be a mixed stage with numerous climbs and descents in the first three quarters, as well as two major climbs with sometimes steep gradients, the second of which is over 10 km long and above 1,000 m. There will be a very long descent to Vlorë, with a likely sprint finish.
The key point will be the climb to the Llogara Pass, a demanding climb that can break up the peloton. Although the summit crest is more than 40 km from the finish, its toughness could encourage offensive teams to make an early move. It will start and finish in Valonne , and cover a total distance of 160 kilometers.
The Giro d'Italia stage schedule is scheduled for around 1:00 PM. As is typical in a sport like cycling, the finish time depends on the speed of the peloton and the number of kilometers the cyclists must cover. The stage typically concludes around 5:00 PM.
In Spain, the Giro d'Italia can be watched on Eurosport .
