On Matchday 15 of the South American World Cup Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup , Venezuela defeated Bolivia 2-0 at home. La Vinotinto achieved an important victory in front of its fans. Several social media users are sharing positive reactions .

Looking at the standings, Argentina is the absolute leader with 34 points thanks to eleven wins, one draw, and three losses. They are followed by Ecuador and Paraguay with 24. Further behind is Venezuela with 18 and currently in the playoff zone. Bolivia is their closest rival with 14. Therefore, with three matches remaining, the Vinotinto has a good chance of finishing in 7th place .

On the other hand, the Argentine national team defeated Chile 1-0 in Santiago. Scaloni's team went from strength to strength, but still managed another solid victory . The only goal of the match was scored by Julián Álvarez after an assist from Thiago Almada.

After the win against Chile, Argentina will face Colombia on Tuesday the 10th, starting at 9:00 PM at the Más Monumental stadium. Lionel Messi is expected to start, as is Lautaro Martínez .
