Tight semi-final
In the penalty shootout , Catalina Usme, Jorelyn Carabalí, Manuela Pavi, Linda Caicedo, and Wendy Bonilla scored for Colombia, while Mayra Ramírez hit the crossbar.
For Argentina , Flor Bonsegundo, Sophia Braun, Aldana Cometti and Kishi Núñez converted their penalties, but Colombian goalkeeper Katherine Tapia saved a penalty from Paulina Gramglia, while Eliana Stábile hit the post with the decisive shot.
During the ninety minutes, both teams enjoyed good chances to score, but lacked precision and the goalkeepers also performed well, especially Colombian Tapia.

Yamila Rodríguez enjoyed time and space to put Argentina ahead, but allowed goalkeeper Tapia to react and block her shot.
Colombians Rodríguez and Caicedo tangled up when the opportunity was favorable for either of them, which caused the Real Madrid forward to shoot wildly at goal.
Tapia then made excellent use of shots from outside the box by Rodríguez and Aldana Cometti in separate plays.

In the second half, Varelin Loboa received an assist between the lines from Leicy Santos, but Solana Pereyra blocked his shot.
Caicedo launched a mid-height pass that Loboa couldn't finish, and in the final moments, Caicedo herself tried to beat Pereyra, but the Argentine goalkeeper beat her in the one-on-one.
In the tiebreaker, goalkeeper Tapia made a key save, and the players showed class despite Ramírez's mistake, securing their spot in the final in the last minute.
