Egan Bernal, among the 10 highest-paid cyclists in the world

The Giro d'Italia is underway, and one of the most important cyclists in Colombian history is participating in this international competition.

This is Egan Bernal, winner of the Tour de France in 2019 , who is currently part of the Ineos team.
Bernal, one of the favorites to win the Giro, is also one of the highest-paid cyclists in the world, according to a ranking by Cycling News, which revealed an updated list of the highest salaries in the sport.

According to this ranking, the Colombian cyclist occupies ninth place in the top 10, led by Slovenian Tadej Pogacar of the UAE Emirates team, considered the highest-paid cyclist on the planet, with a salary of 8 million euros per season.
