Nothing is more annoying than a severe headache . The tension and inflammation of the muscles, blood vessels, and nerves around the skull make it an extremely unpleasant situation for the body. However, there is a more effective natural solution than aspirin.

This is white willow bark, an ally for migraine sufferers. Its components offer immediate relief with fewer gastrointestinal side effects and without affecting blood clotting, thanks to its natural composition and the presence of other beneficial nutrients.

The “Psychology and Mind” page also mentions that “ it has been found to be useful for weight loss, arthritis, bone pain, and other muscle pain, thanks to the combination of its natural components.”

In addition, white willow bark provides other beneficial compounds, such as vitamins (C, B1, B2), minerals (potassium, phosphorus, iron, manganese), fiber and tannins, which have properties to relieve all types of bodily discomfort.

How can white willow be consumed?

White willow bark can be consumed mainly in the following ways:

Infusion or tea: This is the most common form. Boil 1 to 3 grams of dried bark in approximately 150–250 ml of water for 10 to 15 minutes. It is then strained and allowed to cool before drinking. It is recommended to drink up to 2 to 5 cups a day, preferably after meals.

Capsules: These are prepared with the dried extract of the bark. The usual dosage is one 400 mg capsule, taken once or twice a day, always under medical or herbalist supervision.

Liquid extract: Can be taken in doses of 1 to 2 ml, 2 or 3 times a day, diluted in water. It is useful for relieving joint and muscle pain.

Topical use: Although less common, willow bark infusion can also be applied externally to treat skin problems such as acne or psoriasis, thanks to its antimicrobial properties.
