Drake cuts Oceania tour short due to 'scheduling issues'

Drake's Oceania tour will be shorter than expected. The Canadian rapper announced on Wednesday, February 26 that the four remaining concerts of his Anita Max Win Tour , which were scheduled to take place in Australia and New Zealand between March 4 and 16, will be postponed to later dates.
In a statement sent to Rolling Stone , his teams mentioned a "scheduling issue" and assured that they are "actively working to reschedule them, as well as to add additional dates." According to Billboard , rumors of cancellation had preceded the official announcement.
"All tickets for the affected concerts will remain valid for the new dates," they assure.
Drake's tour, which was set to run for 16 dates, was launched on February 4. All tickets were sold out. The four shows that have been postponed are those in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia, scheduled for March 4 and 7, and those in Auckland, New Zealand, on March 15 and 16.
This setback comes in the midst of a resurgence of his conflict with rapper Kendrick Lamar , who has been releasing hits. The two artists have been battling it out through songs for months , and in recent weeks, Kendrick Lamar has emerged as the big winner in this spat.
The rapper from Compton performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in early February, probably one of the most prestigious and most watched stages in the world, during which he performed his hit Not Like Us . A song in which he multiplies attacks on Drake, accusing him in particular of being a "patent pedophile".
The track's streams skyrocketed on streaming platforms after his performance, putting a new spotlight on his killer rhymes against the God's Plan singer. Drake had suffered his first setback about ten days earlier when Not Like Us won the 2025 Grammy Award for song of the year.
Drake has since released $ome $exy $ongs 4 U , a collaborative album with rapper PartyNextDoor, which reached number one in the US.
