Saint-Malo (35) – Shooting at a building and cars set on fire in the middle of the night, an investigation opened

According to Le Télégramme , on the night of July 29-30, 2025, in Saint-Malo , two violent events occurred within minutes of each other. Shortly after midnight, shots were fired at the glass entrance door of a building on Rue Amand Dagé – at least three impacts were recorded.

At the same time, about 1 km away, a fire destroyed two cars parked in the parking lot of the Euro-Auto garage, 2 rue de La Saulais , in the La Madeleine commercial area. The fire, which started in a white Renault Scénic, spread to a black Renault Mégane and even partially reached the building. "The fire started in the white Renault Scénic. It spread to the black Renault Mégane parked right next to it and then spread a little to the gable of the garage," said a still-shocked employee.

Law enforcement has opened an investigation. No official link has yet been established between the shooting and the fire, but the simultaneous nature of the incident is intriguing.
