A man carrying knives who had "thrown" himself on a team of police officers "without saying a word" was killed by the police this Wednesday morning in Dugny (Seine-Saint-Denis), AFP learned from the Paris police headquarters .

One of the police officers first used an "electric gun" , without effect, the police prefecture specified. Another officer then "used his weapon" , injuring the man in the chest, who died despite the intervention of emergency services, the source added.
