Tarare Infanticide: A Video at the Heart of the Horror

Investigators are continuing their investigations to establish the chronology of the tragedy . While waiting for the 17-year-old woman suspected of killing her baby last weekend in Tarare (Rhône) to be heard, they are using a video of the events, according to information from Le Progrès. confirmed to Le Figaro by several sources close to the case. This film was sent by the child's young mother to a man, who could be the father. It was he who alerted the police on the night of Saturday to Sunday last, around 3:30 in the morning.

They entered the apartment of the girl's mother on Rue de Belfort and discovered a newborn baby with scissor wounds. Barely born, he was already dead, wrapped in a sheet and hidden under a bed.

The suspect's mother and her other children were in the family apartment at the time of the incident. According to a source close to the case, this tragedy could be the result of the teenager's denial of pregnancy. The latter was arrested by the police. Her custody was quickly lifted for medical reasons.
