A less spring-like start to the week than your weekend. A cooling of temperatures at the end of the day, active rains and strong winds and a return of snow in the mountains.

A depression is plunging into the Bay of Biscay with active rains accompanied by strong winds over Aquitaine. The rains are reaching the western half throughout the morning in an autumnal and gloomy atmosphere. The sky is clouding up ahead in the east, including in the Mediterranean, with the maritime entries still. Temperatures range from 7 to 12°C from north to south.
The rains are moving from the southeast to the northeast with still fairly sustained rains overall. Everything is gradually shifting towards the east. The clearings are quickly returning to the rear by the ocean. It is snowing on the Alps at around 1500 meters. Above 1800 meters, up to 20 centimeters of snow are expected by the end of the day. Temperatures range from 9 to 15°C from north to south.
The weather is slowly calming down, with some more rain from the southwest to the northeast and still some snowflakes in the mountains. Temperatures are dropping, it is cooler with temperatures around 5-6°C in the northern half.
