As Pride Month begins, the SOS Homophobie Lyon association is organizing a major dance marathon on June 15 in Villeurbanne, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Are you ready to dance? On June 15, the SOS Homophobie Lyon association is organizing a Pride dance marathon from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Place Lazare Goujon in Villeurbanne. As Pride Month begins, organizers hope to raise maximum funds with this charity event, but above all, to raise awareness of the LGBTQIA+ community.

DJ set, refreshments… for more than 6 hours, participants will be able to dance to disco, pop and techno rhythms with several prizes up for grabs: prize for the craziest dance, the best costume or the most extravagant outfit! To win, the goal is simple: dance for 45 minutes, then a 15-minute break before the next whistle. But be careful, no one will be allowed to leave the space during the dance sessions.

Other games and activities will be organized: duck dance, one-legged dance, whirling dervish, minute twerk, voguing and waaking, disco and minute tektonik. To participate and get your bib, simply register on the SOS Homophobie website . The organizers remind that this is a caring and inclusive event, "no sexism, no homophobia, no racism, no transphobia, no touching without consent, that goes without saying" , are therefore tolerated.

As a reminder, Pride 2025 in Lyon will also take place on June 15.
