A young Afghan man with ties to ISIS has been charged

A 20-year-old Afghan man, arrested in Lyon last Sunday, has been formally charged in Paris and placed in pretrial detention for participating in a terrorist organization and financing a terrorist enterprise. Having arrived in France a few years ago, the suspect disseminated propaganda on social media and was "clearly a subscriber to jihadist ideology," according to the national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office.
