Cuttura. Dam Festival: Grab your tools to prepare your soapboxes

The 3rd Cuttura Dam Festival will take place on June 14th, with a soapbox race to open the event.
The route will begin at the Capelli garage and wind down to the Auberge du Vieux Moulin, next to Lake Cuttura. It will be a 700-meter route on a closed road, including several obstacles. The track will be secured by no fewer than 1,500 tires collected by the organization's volunteers.
The winner of this race will be judged on their ability to overcome obstacles, avoid breaking their soapbox, and their maneuverability and originality. The race and prize-giving ceremony will be hosted by TotM, the host of the regional radio station Fréquence Plus.
The competing vehicle must be a maximum of 2.50 m long and 1.50 m wide. Ground clearance must not exceed 25 cm (10 cm is recommended). The unladen weight must not exceed 100 kg.
There must be at least three wheels, preferably inflatable and of good quality. Car wheels are prohibited; scooter, bicycle, wheelbarrow, etc. wheels must be used.
The vehicle must also be equipped with an effective braking system on at least two wheels (a test will be carried out before the start), as well as a steering system that accurately transmits movement to the wheels. Drivers aged 12 and over can compete.
Tickets will be checked from 1 p.m., with departure scheduled for around 2 p.m., followed by the trophy presentation at 5:30 p.m. Registration will close on June 10.
After the race, the Dam Festival will be held, with musical groups and shows.
