Nils Tavernier is releasing a new film in theaters on Wednesday, February 26, "La vie devant moi". The director is not promoting it, is not participating in previews. He is invisible, or rather he has been made invisible. In April 2024, "le Nouvel Obs" revealed that the director was the target of two complaints of rape. The two complainants, former aspiring actresses who did not know each other, denounced facts dating back to 1993 and 2012 respectively. The director, interviewed at the time by "le Nouvel Obs", had denied the accusations, declaring himself "stunned" .
