From Arbois to Foncine-le-Haut. Dé-Lire in Revermont, when reading is done orally

Authors meet readers, elementary, middle, and high school students, read-aloud sessions, and music. The ninth edition of Dé-Lire en Revermont will revolve around Champagnole this year. Here's a look at the program.
The Dé-Lire en Revermont reading aloud festival returns from May 22nd to 24th for its ninth edition. If you're not familiar with this unique event, which takes place in several towns (this year: Champagnole, Foncine-le-Haut, Nozeroy, Arbois, Dournon, Poligny), now's the time to discover it.
The festival is growingIt should be noted that, from the original Revermont of the title, the festival continues to expand towards the plateaus now, so much the better! Its most classic part is the literary event which consists mainly of the meeting of three authors, always different, aimed at young readers, from children to high school students.

The most original aspect of this festival is that it promotes reading aloud . This naturally requires an audience. It encourages the reader's attention and concentration with the aim of embodying the text and reporting on it. This requires an intelligible voice level and the daring to use intonations to interpret the writer's intentions to some extent.
For children, teenagers, and adults alike, it's often a way to throw oneself into the deep end, to lay oneself (a little) bare by expressing emotions. A way to become more outgoing—halfway with theater—that feels great... and allows the listener to "read" effortlessly since they're just listening.
The festival takes place in several forms. Here is the public program (in addition to meetings between authors and middle school students).
