Gilles Guilleux appointed director of the Lyon Conservatory
Former director of the Regional Conservatory (CRR) of Pau, Gilles Guilleux will take over as director of the CRR of Lyon at the start of the 2025 academic year.
Gilles Guilleux succeeds Géry Moutier and takes over as director of the Lyon Regional Conservatory (CRR), the City of Lyon announced on Monday. Appointed by the City and Metropolis of Lyon, he will officially take up his duties at the start of the next academic year, on August 18, 2025.
Former director of the CRR of Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), Gilles Guilleux, is also a trumpeter and conductor. In their press release, the local authorities "are delighted to welcome a recognized professional, with an ambitious artistic and educational project, serving students, teaching staff, and the CRR's influence at the local and national levels."
