Greater Nancy. July 14: Places to see the fireworks are few and far between.

This Monday, the city of Nancy will adorn itself with the tricolor flag to celebrate the French Revolution. And the unmissable fireworks display will take off over the Plateau de Haye, in the Gentilly area.
If you're used to admiring the show from the historic center and surrounding areas, you're strongly advised not to repeat the experience for this 2025 edition. And the town hall certainly agrees, as it was unavailable this Friday to specify from which locations the fireworks display could be viewed, outside of the secure area set up for this purpose.
Going to the heights of the town, precisely where the firing will be carried out, seems to be the best, if not the only, option given the somewhat sunken location of the firing point, which suggests that even near Laxou and Maxéville, where the pyrotechnicians still recommend positioning themselves, it will be difficult to spot.
"Going to the city center will be pointless." According to professionals, the fireworks display was designed to be viewed from the official site and they do not guarantee that it will be visible from the lower part of the city.
For the trouble, the transport network will mobilize to facilitate travel to Avenue du Rhin. A space intended for 40,000 people awaits residents at the parking lot of the Palais des sports Jean Weille. It remains to be seen whether the transport system will be able to absorb the crowd. Because the round trips will begin at 8 p.m., right on time for the start of the festivities... However, shuttles like those regularly set up for the Nancy Open Air, which some users do not always have fond memories of, have already shown that the wait can sometimes be long. It will therefore be wise to get ahead to be sure to arrive before the grand finale.
