In Rome, Dolce & Gabbana features real cardinals, fake gladiators and extravagant couture

For thirteen years, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been taking their wealthy clientele across Italy for their Alta Moda event , five days of socializing and collections of couture, fine jewelry (Alta Gioielleria) and incredibly luxurious menswear (Alta Sartoria). After Sicily, Sardinia (last year), Puglia, Venice and Florence, the duo is finally taking its loyal following to Rome. " Showcasing in Rome is not trivial, we were waiting to be ready," confesses Domenico Dolce.
