Like every summer, the design duo invited its most loyal clients to Italy for its Alta Moda event. Five days of festivities of rare opulence, featuring Colosseum petticoats, antique embroidery, billionaires, and even... Cher.
For thirteen years, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been taking their wealthy clientele across Italy for their Alta Moda event , five days of socializing and collections of couture, fine jewelry (Alta Gioielleria) and incredibly luxurious menswear (Alta Sartoria). After Sicily, Sardinia (last year), Puglia, Venice and Florence, the duo is finally taking its loyal following to Rome. " Showcasing in Rome is not trivial, we were waiting to be ready," confesses Domenico Dolce. Although Dior presented Maria Grazia Chiuri's final show there at the end of May, the Eternal City, with its stunning beauty, is not the easiest to tackle...
