Métabief. Straw Festival: Volunteer recruitment is open

The festival team opened applications at the end of April on its website. For the entire event, including the setup and teardown phases on site, some 400 people are expected to lend a hand to the organizers. These reinforcements are "essential" for the running of the festival, an independent non-profit organization that, like all other events of its kind, operates on a tight budget.

Experiencing La Paille behind the scenes is "an experience in its own right," according to Eugénie Burnier, director of the La Paille festival , the biggest event of its kind in the Haut-Doubs region. Her team has just launched the volunteer recruitment campaign on social media at the end of April for the 23rd edition, scheduled for August 1, 2 and 3 at the foot of the slopes of the Métabief resort, and which will see artists such as Hatik, Polo & Pan, Silmarils, Solann and Bandit Bandit .
