A lively atmosphere reigned at the Sarreguemines athletics stadium on Sunday for the N2A French Interclub Championships. The Assa stadium hosted 600 athletes and some pleasant surprises, including victories for Yann Schrub in the 1,500m and Brice Metzinger in the 3,000m steeplechase.
What an atmosphere! The athletics stadium was buzzing on Sunday for the French National 2A Interclub Championships organized by Assa. 600 athletes from around ten clubs in the Grand Est region traveled to Sarreguemines, not to sunbathe on the track in the beautiful sunshine, but mainly to try to secure a spot on the podium.
