Nicolas Lacroix, the comedian who can't say no, arrives in Six-Fours

There are people who don't know how to say no. And then there's Nicolas Lacroix, Olympic champion of the unconditional "yes," who turns his weaknesses into a spectacle.
The Belgian comedian will be in Six-Fours-les-Plages this Saturday, May 17, with his first show Trop gentil , before returning to the region in 2026.
Through numerous anecdotes and a good dose of self-mockery, the man who has amassed a community of more than 3 million followers on his social networks explores the adventures of an overly empathetic personality, incapable of refusing anything... even the most absurd requests.
Your show is called Too Nice . If you had to rename it Too Something Else, what would it be?
Definitely Too Messy . It's often said that our apartments and cars can be a reflection of what's going on in our heads. Apparently, mine is a real mess. It could also have been Too Empathetic . In Paris, I fill out forms for charities all day long. Now they're starting to recognize me and they see me coming from afar. The Belgian pigeon par excellence.
The worst situation where your kindness played tricks on you?
Once, I wanted to help a homeless man who just wanted a drink. I accompanied him to a store, and he actually did his shopping. I paid 70 euros for cans of Red Bull and cigarettes. Also, once, a friend offered to take me to a club that had just opened. It turned out to be a swingers club.
What superpower would help you on stage…or in life?
That of never being tired. My happiness depends a lot on that of others, so I often run around trying to please everyone. The pace of the tour is quite intense [the day before his performance in Six-Fours-les-Plages, he plays in Visé, Belgium, editor's note], but I refuse to complain because I'm lucky enough to be able to do what I love.
Saturday, May 17, at 8 p.m., at the André Malraux Cultural Center, Six-Fours-les-Plages. Single entry: €25.
