Paris: More than 30 years later, the bust from Jim Morrison's tomb found by chance

The bust of Jim Morrison, stolen in 1988 from Paris's Père-Lachaise cemetery, has been found by chance. Police announced the discovery on social media, welcoming the fact that " this iconic symbol of the singer's fans has been recovered."
The imposing sculpture of the Doors singer, created by Croatian artist Mladen Mikulin, was stolen from the Parisian cemetery 37 years ago.
This bust, installed for the tenth anniversary of Jim Morrison's death, was found by the financial and anti-corruption brigade of the judicial police department of the Paris police headquarters, AFP learned from a source close to the case, confirming information from RTL radio .
Died in July 1971According to the radio, it was discovered by chance during a search carried out by the Paris prosecutor's office in connection with a fraud case.

The American rocker, legendary singer of The Doors, died in Paris in July 1971. According to the official version, Jim Morrison died in his bathtub at the age of 27, from a heart attack.
