Périgueux: The Anomalys, the primitive garage punk band, will set the Moulin du Rousseau alight

The Anomalys is arguably the most exported European primitive garage punk band of the 21st century. Wild, frenetic, and provocative, the Anomalys have played on every continent, from local dive bars to South American stadiums, and they'll be on stage at the Moulin du Rousseau this Wednesday, June 11th, starting at 8:30 p.m. The unpredictability of their "pure psychotic rhythm'n'roll" shows has led them to play from Istanbul to Las Vegas, sharing the stage with artists like The Mummies, Wau y los Arrrghs!, The Staggers, and many others. Indeed, after releasing their first album " The Anomalys" (2010), on the American label Slovenly Recordings, they crossed the Atlantic several times, making three tours in the USA and numerous tours in Europe, participating in festivals like South By Southwest, Funtastic Dracula carnaval or GoSinnerGo! For 20 years, Bone, the blond Dutch giant who leads the gang has been preaching the good word of rock'n'roll tinged with blues, garage and punk. More explosive and impactful than ever, the now ex-Dutch trio features Frenchmen Rémi (Escobar, Weird Omen) on drums and another giant, Monsieur Looch Vibrato (Magnetix, Avenue Z, King Khan's Louder Than Death') on second guitar. Since then, the trio has been setting stages ablaze all over the world.
