Picnic under the stars, theater and gourmet markets

Chancelade. "White Picnic Under the Stars" evening at the Balcons de Majourdin site starting at 8 p.m. The Dordogne astronomy club FLEP will offer stargazing. Access and parking are via the Chemin des Petites Fontaines. Cost: free. Information and registration: +33 5 53 07 91 00.
Salignac-Eyvigues. White picnic at the Eyrignac gardens, every Monday until August 25, starting at 7 p.m. White attire required. Prices: €23.90, €12, €9, and free.
Thonac. The Château et jardins de Losse invites you to dive into the heart of La Fontaine's famous fables with a captivating play performed by the Compagnons d'Ulysse, as part of the Rêve en Vézère festival. Two performances are offered at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Price: included in the admission price.
Villamblard. Escape game at Barrière Castle at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Free. Reserved for ages 12 and up. Maximum 8 people. Information / Reservations: [email protected]
TomorrowCherval. Cherval in Lights "The Boatmen of the Dordogne," in the church, from 10:15 p.m. until August 5. Prices: 20 euros, 15 euros, 10 euros, and 5 euros.
Les Eyzies. Conference "The Photographers of Lascaux", at 6:30 p.m., at the National Museum of Prehistory.
Thonac. "The Losse Court, Tomorrow the Revolution," every Tuesday during the summer, in the church. Tickets: 10 euros, 5 euros for children under 12.
Tursac. Storytelling evenings at the Madeleine site. Prices: 15 euros for adults, 12 euros for teens, 9 euros for children, free for children under six.
Saint-Astier. The municipality is relaunching summer Tuesdays with gourmet food stalls and a variety of concerts at Petit Pré, on the banks of the Isle. Information: 05 53 02 42 80.

Boulazac-Isle-Manoire. The Louis-Aragon media library is offering "Games for Little Ones," a board game session for children ages 2 to 8 and their parents, at 10 a.m. The event is free.
Beaumont-du-Périgord. Garage sales and local designers' market every Wednesday in July and August, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the central square and rue Foussal.
