Saint-Genis-Laval: Les Météores, a festival of spectacular celebrations

On July 1st, with Les Baudrières , three adventurers from the L'encordée company hang from the top of a large dome, connected to each other and attached by the waist to perform a dizzying ascent in a vital surge. On July 8th, the acrobats from the La Contrebande company build a cabin with two trampolines, a few straps and wooden planks, transformed into a playground that takes them back to the pleasures of childhood.

A double evening is announced for July 15 with Mon Royaume pour un cheval (La Bossue company), a puppet theater that will bring out a contortionist magician, followed by How Much We Carry (Cirque Immersif company), a duo where one carries the bulky and unstable pole while the other climbs to its top, an acrobatic performance that explores the limits of what one can carry physically and within oneself.
The highlight of the festival will be the evening of July 22 with Ce qui nous lie by the Nuits group, a collective experience where three dancers/acrobats invite the public to join them while at nightfall, on the facade of a building, the company Le Théâtre de nuit will deploy with Créatures a large-format and colorful shadow theater, conducive to an extraordinary journey in which a mysterious character will be drawn.
The evenings begin at 6:30 p.m. and creative workshops are offered based on the themes of the shows, along with a competition allowing the public to win numerous gifts.
