Sorges celebrates the 10th anniversary of the organ

A concert will be held on Sunday, July 6 at 5 p.m., in the Saint-Germain-de-Sorges church to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the organ's installation. François Clément, organist and international concert artist, specializing in works from the 16th to the 20th centuries, will play the organ at the request of organist Pascal Bertry.
Haydn, Bach, Isoir…François Clément studied organ with Louis Thiry, Gaston Litaize, and primarily André Isoir. In 1994, he obtained the certificate of aptitude for organ teaching. He is currently professor of organ at the Clermont-Ferrand Conservatory and holder of the great organ of the cathedral of the same city. He regularly accompanies choirs and solo instruments, and is a member of the instrumental ensemble "Musique en famille."
The program includes anonymous composers from the 16th century and great composers for this instrument: Dietrich Buxtehude, Joseph Haydn, Johann Sebastian Bach, Georges Böhm, without forgetting Guillaume Lasceux and André Isoir.
