Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord: An exceptional organ and cello recital in the Saint-Germain church

This Tuesday, July 22, the Saint-Germain church welcomes Laure Volpato and Uriel Valadeau, two exceptional musicians, for a musical evening featuring Bach, Couperin and Vivaldi.
As part of the tenth anniversary of the installation of the organ in the Saint-Germain church, the Friends of the Church association is organizing an evening with two exceptional musicians.
The cellist, Laure Volpato, passionate about chamber music, is driven by a constant desire to be open to all forms of artistic expression, from baroque to jazz, she collaborates on various musical, choreographic, pictorial, literary, theatrical creations.
President of the Arts au Diapason association, co-founder of the Rêveries de Saint-Victor in Montvianeix (in Auvergne) and artistic director of the Arts au Diapason company (staging, original compositions), the musician initiates and develops artistic and cultural projects: concerts, shows, conferences, festivals.
Two internationally renowned musiciansLaure Volpato will give a recital this Tuesday, July 22, accompanied by Uriel Valadeau, organist.
A member of the Francis Chapelet Foundation, awarded for two recordings with the latter in Peru as part of the Chemins du Baroque, Uriel Valadeau is involved in the animation of several organ festivals and performs in numerous concerts. A graduate of the CNR of Bordeaux, he teaches organ and piano in Bergerac in his private class.
Brought together for this concert, the two musicians will perform pieces by Bach, Couperin, Vivaldi, among others, and some solos from each instrument.
