In We Will Go Through Storms , Anne-Laure Bondoux paints a family saga, from father to son since 1914. Her novel, which is coming out in paperback, puts words to the violence of men, and creates a bridge between generations, speaking to both adolescents and adults.

How do you choose the subject of a novel so that it speaks to young readers?

"Writing a book always starts with a personal questioning. The form comes later, depending on the readers for whom my novel is intended. The question that bothered me as an adult being universal, I bet that it would interest younger people too.
