The Le Son by Toulon festival attracted 40,000 spectators: a look back at the highlights in pictures

For its second edition, the Le Son by Toulon festival was a resounding success. With five dates on the program, more than 40,000 spectators attended the various concerts.
This year's lineup included Michel Polnareff, Gims, Nada Surf, and Simple Minds, Ibrahim Maalouf Lamomali with -M-, Fatoumata Diawara, and the Afro Pop Orchestra, as well as Sofiane Pamart. A varied lineup that appealed to a wide audience.
" Ticket sales got off to a good start from the first announcements, but as always, we experienced a dip in sales, before a resurgence as the festival approached ," explains Robert Albergucci, director of Toulon Métropole Events and Congresses.
With 5,000 more spectators than the previous year, the evenings were almost sold out.
A guarantee of public satisfaction according to the organizer: " The feedback is, overall, very positive from the spectators, but also from the artists. Everyone has expressed their satisfaction, both with the organization and the welcome they received from the people of Toulon. "
A meeting that is establishing itself in the musical landscapeAfter only two years of existence, the festival is already beginning to establish itself as a reference on the regional… and national music scene!
As proof, " productions are already positioning their artists for the next editions. This is a real sign of success for Le son by Toulon ," rejoices Robert Albergucci.
Although attendance is high, some areas for improvement have been identified, particularly around the festival village and refreshment stands.
Improvements planned for 2026" We added tables to make the space more welcoming and create more rest areas, in line with requests made after the first edition. But this is still not enough, and next year we want to improve the village and create a relaxation area. We're already working on this with my teams... "
So, there will be slight changes coming, but some things will remain in place: " What is certain is that we will remain faithful to our guiding principle: an eclectic program, open to all, to satisfy as many people as possible ," assures the organizer.
The first artists' names will be revealed, as every year, during the last quarter of the year.
