The Nice tramway immerses itself in the oceanic symphony

The song of Nice's seagulls, the foam on Villefranche beach, dolphins in the Mediterranean, a whale in Polynesia, and even the world of silence. The great ocean symphony has been sweeping the crowds aboard Nice's tramway since Sunday. Until June 15, all lines are in tune with the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3), with tailor-made sound creations.
For the occasion, Nice native Michel Redolfi has added fifteen to his already extensive collection. Since 2007 and the launch of the first tram line, this sound alchemist has been composing the sounds that accompany passengers. At a time when the heart of the blue planet beats in Nice, he offers a refreshing marine cocktail. Three sounds are played at regular intervals on the lines and in the stations of the Lignes d'Azur network. Actor Jean-Marc Barr, an iconic figure in Luc Besson's "The Big Blue," lent his voice to welcome passengers, from the port to the airport.
From "Sonic Waters" to "Nausicaà," Michel Redolfi has established himself as a specialist in underwater performances. This Friday, he and Jean-Marc Barr presented the underwater concert "Sea of Sound," which will captivate the Villefranche-sur-Mer harbor on the weekend of July 12-13. An immersive experience that will offer swimmers the key to the songs.
