TV program for Wednesday, February 26: “Les Vedettes”, “Les Indestructibles 2”… Our selection

A hilarious and critical film on the world of television and its entertainment with the duo Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais, the second opus of the animated film with its hyper-endearing superheroes who cultivate self-mockery… Here are our suggestions for your TV evening.
By Michel Valentin , Yves Jaeglé and Renaud Baronian"Les Vedettes", at 9:25 p.m., on TMC. Daniel and Stéphane work in a household appliance hypermarket. One was vaguely a third-rate singer, the other thinks he's the manager of his department, while his boss is making fun of him. They can't stand each other. They've pretty much failed at everything. But as they sink deeper, their chance might be to form an alliance: one has a voice, the other a gift of memory to remember the prices of every possible and imaginable appliance. What if they applied to TV game shows to make money?
Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais, the Palmashow duo , make fun of the merciless world of the small screen and its entertainment, the need for recognition at all costs, so to speak, and the overconsumption to which even the underpaid are pushed. But what we remember from "Vedettes" is not only the gags, but this human depth of two magnificent losers, their improbable friendship. And the quality of the staging, which makes it a social portrait of a forgotten and abandoned peri-urban France.
