War in Gaza: France demands “immediate, massive and unhindered” humanitarian aid

"After three months of diplomatic efforts, the Israeli government has finally announced the reopening of humanitarian aid to Gaza. This must be immediate, massive, and unhindered. As indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas take place in Doha, "France calls for an immediate ceasefire and the release of Hamas hostages" and "is taking action to bring about a political solution based on two states," added the head of French diplomacy.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced Sunday evening that Israel would allow the entry of "a basic amount of food intended for the population, in order to prevent the development of famine in the Gaza Strip," where no humanitarian aid has entered since March 2.
