"It has been redesigned and reworked": for the launch of the summer season, the CCLGV presents its new tourist guide to Villecroze

The Verdon Lakes and Gorges Community of Communes (CCLGV) launched the summer season with local tourism stakeholders and elected officials. Charles-Antoine Mordelet , Mayor of Aiguines and Vice President in charge of tourism, welcomed the assembly gathered in front of the tourist office. Karine Avon , head of the intercommunal tourist office, presented the team, missions and services. "Those who are on the front line, who welcome holidaymakers and who act as a link between local stakeholders and the general public, are of course our advisors." The CCLGV's mission goes far beyond this; it uses the entire communications arsenal at its disposal (Internet, applications, mobile, social networks, trade fairs, press relations, distribution of service provider brochures, etc.).
The emphasis on the left bankThe goal is to promote the Verdon lakes and gorges sector, and this year, the focus is on the left bank, which is located on the Var side. The Verdon is the natural border between the Var department and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. "The tourist guide has been completely redesigned and reworked in collaboration with communications professionals. As each of you can see from the new tourist guide, which is available to all visitors to the area, we named it "The Verdon Left Bank," because it presents the entire part of the Regional Natural Park located on the Var side, these villages and their many riches, their heritage, culture, activities, and water sports. But also its gastronomy, particularly that linked to the black truffle," says Karine Avon.
This tourist guide is presented in the form of a glossy magazine, containing photos and a wealth of information for an unforgettable stay on the left bank of the Verdon. The application for the "Grand Site de France" label will be submitted very soon. "This is a project we have been working on for 25 years and is led by the Verdon Regional Natural Park. We hope to obtain this label by 2026."
