"The problem is that today, buying a counterfeit is no longer a trivial act: it's financing organized crime, terrorism, all the crimes we condemn," warns Delphine Sarfati-Sobreira, director general of Unifab. She denounces an increasingly structured system: "Counterfeiters are increasingly organized. Europol has identified 31 criminal organizations involved, which penetrate all legitimate distribution channels."
