Here is the program of events for the month of August in Sainte-Maxime

With summer in full swing, there will once again be plenty of activities throughout August. The program will be very eclectic, culminating in the highly anticipated Braderie des commerçants. Traditions, the August 15th celebration, and music will punctuate the coming month.
Provençal traditionsThe Lei Magnoti folk group will be performing on August 7 and 15. The first event will be the celebration of Saint Donatus' Day, a traditional festival that is an opportunity to pray for rain.
Mass and procession take place every year on the site of Saint-Donat, on the edge of the Muy road.
Lei Magnoti will also be present at the Assumption celebration, marked by a procession at sea and an open-air mass at the end of the day at the Théâtre de la Mer [Friday, August 15, at 6 p.m.].
August 15th FireworksOn August 15, we will commemorate the 81st anniversary of the landing of Allied troops in Provence.
The various ceremonies in front of the war memorials will be followed, late in the morning, by the traditional parade of vintage military vehicles. A parade that attracts thousands of people to Avenue Charles de Gaulle every year.
The fireworks will be set off as usual in front of the city center beach at 10:30 p.m.
The big merchants' saleNow organized by the municipality's trade department in partnership with the
SEMA event service, the big merchant sale will take place from Thursday, August 21 to Sunday, August 24.
An XXL event that has become, over the years, a must for shopping queens and kings, some of whom come from far and wide to hunt down bargains and treat themselves.
Omnipresent musicTwo tribute evenings will be on the program at the Théâtre de la Mer, Mike Brant on August 6 and for Charles Aznavour on the 20th.
Also on the program are hits by Jean-Jacques Goldman on the 7th and a tribute to the British pop-rock group, Coldplay, on the 11th.
More touching, a special evening will be dedicated to Mickey and his friends for the greatest pleasure of children on August 4.
Finally, the last date of the "Summer Scenes", on August 8, will see DJ "Petit Biscuit" take over the stage of the Théâtre de la Mer.
