Mâcon: A lifetime collection up for auction

An unprecedented sale begins this Monday, led by the Quai des Achères team in Mâcon. It's a sale of hundreds of objects amassed throughout his life by an octogenarian who died earlier this year: weapons, cameras, old TSF radios, and more. A Prévert-style inventory that had to be sorted, cleaned, and labeled. The auction will take place on site and online until Wednesday. Alain Romangas, a Mâconnais who had devoted his life to "hunting for antiques," died earlier this year at the age of 80. He had a dream: to open a museum. His project didn't come to fruition during his lifetime, but this sale, organized over three days, brings it to fruition, albeit briefly.
Auction from Monday to Wednesday (including Treasures of the Quay) starting at 2:30 p.m. Advance viewing by appointment only. Viewable on interencheres.com and Drouot
