Precision agriculture, solar energy: in Dordogne, the Livestock and Territory festival invites us to think about tomorrow

The theme chosen for this highlight of the departmental agricultural agenda: "Ration quality and technologies." This is an opportunity for advisors from the Dordogne Chamber of Agriculture to raise awareness among Périgord breeders and farmers about the economic opportunities available to them in all areas, in an era of climate change and triumphant technology.
"We have focused our discussions on four major issues: viticulture, fodder and feed quality, precision agriculture, and solar energy. In each of these sectors, techniques and development prospects are evolving, leading to possible new sources of income," says Bertrand Langlois, president of the Federation of Cuma. "We will especially be attentive to farmers' questions," adds the new president of the Périgord Chamber of Agriculture, Rémi Dumaure (Rural Coordination).
Admission will be free. A country farmers' market will offer local produce for sale at midday.
