Roquefort: "An excellence that is being lost"

Emmanuel Macron is visiting Roquefort today to celebrate the appellation's 100th anniversary, but also to support this "symbol of French cheese heritage," according to the Élysée Palace, in the midst of a trade war with the United States. The famous sheep's milk cheese is going through a difficult time, with declining sales in France. And some local farmers remain skeptical, believing that this visit will change nothing and is merely a PR stunt.
