Sarthe: Four dead in a bus accident carrying Ukrainian adults and teenagers

Four people died and eleven others were seriously injured on Friday in an accident involving a coach carrying Ukrainian adults and teenagers on the A81 motorway in Sarthe, the department's prefecture announced.

The provisional toll also indicates 34 minor injuries, the prefecture indicated, specifying that the accident occurred on the Rennes-Le Mans route near the town of Degré. The motorway is expected to be closed "in both directions" to facilitate evacuation and rescue operations, the press release added.
