Thunderstorms on the night of Saturday, June 14th to Sunday, June 15th caused damage to power lines in Savigny-le-Sec. "A general outage occurred in the town between 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.," reported Mayor Jean-Michel Staiger. "Electricity has not been restored in several parts of the village," he added, specifying that "Enedis is on the ground." The elected official mentioned having "no means of action" and advised that "in the event of an outage, information can be obtained from the website: https://www.enedis.fr/panne-et-interruption," hoping that "general restoration will be rapid."
