Leftover meals thrown into the grass or bushes are not very appetizing. Harmful to the environment, they're also bad for a brand, especially when they bear the company logo. McDonald's France understands this and is offering municipalities the opportunity to sign agreements to fight this together.

On Monday, June 23, Danielle Dambach, mayor of Schiltigheim, and Laurent Liautaud, franchisee of the Schiltigheim McDonald's restaurant, signed a new agreement. This Abandoned Packaging Program (PEA) is a plan of action with reciprocal commitments.
