Should we reduce the size of baguettes to avoid waste?

Reducing the size of the baguette... This is the idea raised by a study by the Too Good to Go app, which tells us that 6 out of 10 French people throw away their bread. Among them, 41% throw away more than half a baguette per month. In other words, 6 baguettes per French person per year end up directly in the trash. Too Good to Go highlights a problem of overconsumption, as the production of a baguette requires 155 liters of water, the equivalent of a bathtub.
