A new document submitted this Thursday, July 10, to the Prime Minister's office, a few days before François Bayrou's presentation of the main guidelines of his 2026 budget, will not help their situation. The Pensions Monitoring Committee (CSR), a body attached to Matignon and responsible each year for submitting an opinion following the report of the Pensions Advisory Council (COR), recommends resorting to an under-indexation of retirement pensions in order to restore balance to the system by 2030.
