The Renault group has announced an internal hiring freeze until December 31 in France and worldwide.

Since Tuesday evening, the automotive world has been buzzing around Renault, due to the surprise appointment of François Provost as head of the group . But, internally, it is the social aspect that will worry employees. In an email in English sent to the company's managers, which Libération was able to consult, dated Tuesday, July 29 but which was apparently sent this Wednesday morning, the management of the Renault group announced that "a hiring freeze across the group will be implemented until December 31, 2025. This measure applies to all functions, brands, and countries." It is "effective immediately."
