The EU adopted on Friday an 18th package of sanctions against Russia in its war against Ukraine, which includes a reduction in the price of Russian oil allowed for export, diplomatic sources said.
"We now have an agreement on a strong and effective 18th package of sanctions against Russia," a diplomat in Brussels assured after a meeting of European Union ambassadors on Friday morning.
