"Physical activity for all": Handiboost Day returns to the Women-Mother-Child Hospital in Bron

The 4th edition of Handiboost Day will be held on June 4th at the Women, Mothers, and Children's Hospital in Bron. This will be an opportunity to highlight the importance of exercise for patients with medical conditions or disabilities.
"Even in cases of illness or disability, practicing adapted and regular physical activity has positive effects on health," is what Handiboost, an association working to make physical activity accessible to all, is trying to demonstrate. In addition to improving the well-being and quality of life of patients, it may even help improve tolerance to the various treatments being followed.
Yet, many obstacles remain. In an effort to address these obstacles, the association organizes Handiboost Day every year. Held on June 4th at the Femme-mère-enfant hospital in Bron, this day aims to highlight concrete solutions to promote regular, accessible, and sustainable physical activity.
The day's program includes a morning dedicated to professionals focusing on the theme: "The importance of territorial networking: towards physical activity for all." This will be followed by an open afternoon with 27 sports clubs open to children, adolescents, and adults with chronic illnesses and/or living with disabilities. Practical introductions will also be offered for the occasion.
