A check for 10,000 euros in support of the association "Biology Without Borders" to improve medical biology in developing countries

Olivier Bausset, head of the Cerballiance medical analysis laboratory, in association with Dr. Juvet, is behind the presentation of a check for 10,000 euros to "Biologie sans frontières" (BSF).
This non-profit association, registered under the 1901 law and recognized as a public utility in 2010, was created by interns from Lyon hospitals. Its goal is to improve medical biology in developing countries.
"It's an association that I follow and that I would like to join one day. It's impossible for the moment, due to lack of time," emphasizes the former bronze medalist in sailing at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Olivier Bausset, remember, is the CEO of Cerballiance Provence-Azur.
"He defended this case very well."
The check for 10,000 euros was presented at the offices of the Maxime laboratory by Professor José Sampol, professor of hematology and administrator of the "Cerba Institute".
"Cerballiance created the Cerba Institute to support and assist projects and actions of general interest. Olivier (Bausset) told us about the BSF project, which aims to finance the purchase of equipment in Togo. He defended this project very well, and we therefore decided to allocate this sum to the association," the professor said.
Olivier Bausset is keen to point out: "It was Elizabeth Roth, a practitioner at Draguignan Hospital, who approached me and presented the project to me. I became their advocate, in a way."
Many representatives of "Biology Without Borders" were present for the check presentation. "On behalf of the Paca branch of our association, we would first like to thank the Cerba Institute and Professor Sampol, as well as the invaluable assistance provided by Olivier (Bausset), thanks to whom this generous sum was made possible. These 10,000 euros will be used to purchase and install equipment, as well as train technicians in two laboratories in the maritime zone of Togo," emphasized Leila Ayouche, treasurer of BSF. Also benefiting from this valuable financial assistance will be a medical-social center "Exchange and Solidarity France Togo," located in Lomé, the capital, for the purchase of a biochemistry automaton, as well as the hospital center of the city of Vogan, this time for the purchase of an autoclave.
In line with the motto of "Biology without Borders"; " Develop to no longer assist "!
