Dijon. Heat: the right actions to take at work

Drink water regularly, wear light clothing that allows sweat to evaporate, protect yourself from the sun, avoid alcohol, and eat lightly. These are some of the things the Ministry of Labor strongly recommends to workers during periods of extreme heat. However, any employee can also request that their work schedules be adjusted according to their heat tolerance, postpone the most difficult tasks to other times, or reduce their workload through short rest cycles. If preventive measures are non-existent or insufficient, the employee can, as a last resort, contact the labor inspection services, but also the social and economic committee (CSE) or the staff representative.
