The wife of this octogenarian from the Jura region was admitted to the emergency room at 11:59 p.m. on May 18 and discharged on May 20. The bill sent to her indicated a three-day stay costing €3,166.11. May 18 was billed as a full day. "That someone could do this really annoys me. This needs to be known."
Since receiving the bill after his wife's hospitalization in May at the Louis-Pasteur Hospital in Dole, Christian Tarriet has been furious. "She was admitted at 11:59 p.m. on May 18: they're making me pay for that day of hospitalization for 1 minute, it's revolting me," says the 83-year-old.
