Located near the Côte-d'Or region, Lake Vingeanne is experiencing a difficult start to the season. Our colleagues at the Journal de Haute-Marne report that the lake is contaminated by the Escherichia coli bacteria.

Swimming not recommended for children

Water analyses, in preparation for the opening of supervised swimming on July 5, came back non-compliant on Thursday, June 26, according to the Journal de Haute-Marne.

The rate would not be very high and the PETR of the Langres region has chosen to put up a preventive information sign, announcing that swimming is not recommended for young children.

New analyses will be carried out soon.
